The Chimney Cleaning Log

The Chimney Cleaning Log is used to help crystallize sticky tar
in your chimney to a form that can be removed by sweeping. 
The instructions are on the box.
 
Obviously it is better not to have the sticky tar forming in the first place by using the stove correctly! They should not be used on stainless steel flexible liners as the warranty may be invalidated.
