Installation

Faraday Stoves have been selling and installing stoves in Devon, Somerset and Dorset for the last 40 years and have a wealth of experience covering all types of stove installation.

We have some very experienced engineers and we offer a comprehensive on site survey within our area which is still free of charge at the moment.  We will undertake a detailed site survey prior to any stove installation and advise you on the correct stove choice and what work will need to be carried out in order to make the installation safe and effective.  We are HETAS registered and all work is certified and guaranteed.  We carry comprehensive public liability and professional indemnity insurance for your ultimate peace of mind.

Servicing ​& Repairs

It is recommended that your stove is serviced regularly and the frequency will depend on the extent of usage and how well the stove has been operated.  Stoves that are worked hard for a lot of the year will need to be checked out annually to ensure that the controls and components are functioning properly and that the stove remains safe to use.  Stoves that are used only occasionally during the heating season may not require servicing as regularly.  We can make minor repairs to some stove models where spares are still available.

It is essential that your chimney flue or liner is swept at least once per year. If the stove is heavily used or slumbered regularly then additional sweeping may be required.

Spares

Many of the reputable stove manufacturers keep spare parts available for their stoves for a considerable time, even after they have stopped making a particular model.  We deal with most of the major manufactureres and can obtain spare parts for you where they are available.

We also keep a good stock of replacement stove glass for the doors and a huge selection of rope seals for the doors.  We can get glass sent directly to you in the post if you do not wish to collect it.
